IMPORTANT NOTICE ⚠️ 
Due to the increased water discharge from the Darnius-Boadella Reservoir in anticipation of rainfall, the accesses to the footbridges over the River Muga at Castelló d'Empúries have been closed. 
Likewise, pedestrian access to the jetties of Empuriabrava is restricted due to the risk of heavy swell. 
These measures are being taken as part of the INUNCAT plan to monitor the rainfall episode, as in some areas of north-east Catalonia, particularly in the Girona region, more than 200 litres per square metre could accumulate in 24 hours.

⚠️ For safety, the authorities recommend not approaching riverbeds or crossing fords while the rain episode is in effect.
