STATE OF DROUGHT: EMERGENCY II
The Darnius - Boadella reservoir enters the Emergency II phase with restrictions on the municipal supply of 180 litres/inhabitant/day. Remember that this figure includes homes, businesses, industries and public facilities throughout the municipality. It is not the limit that each person can consume per day.
Do you want to know if you are using too much water?
Take the bill you have received, look at your consumption (this data is in m3), multiply it by 1,000 and then divide the result by the number of people registered in the dwelling. Divide the result by 90 (the 90 days of the quarter between the two readings) and you will know the litres consumed per inhabitant per day in your home.
A figure close to 90 litres per inhabitant per day would be optimal.
If you prefer, send an email to mediambient@castello.cat or with the address and name and we will help you.
Drought is everyone's business, help us save water.
